About Your Session

  1. Drink plenty of water beginning at least 48 hours before your session.  We recommend ½ oz. per pound of body weight (a 140 lb. person should drink 70 oz.) per day, possibly more depending upon your salt intake or amount of physical activity.
  2. Try to avoid caffeinated foods and beverages.
  3. Wear loose clothing, such as shorts and a tank top.  You do not have to remove your clothing for this type of massage.
  4. Avoid applying body lotions or creams before your massage – these can interfere with the therapist's massage efforts.
  5. Bring plenty of water with you to your massage.
  6. Drink plenty of water immediately following your massage.
  7. Drink plenty of water!
  8. Oh yes, and drink plenty of water!
  9. Did we mention to drink plenty of water?
