

- Drink plenty of water beginning at least 48 hours before your session. We recommend ½ oz. per pound of body weight (a 140 lb. person should drink 70 oz.) per day, possibly more depending upon your salt intake or amount of physical activity.
- Try to avoid caffeinated foods and beverages.
- Wear loose clothing, such as shorts and a tank top. You do not have to remove your clothing for this type of massage.
- Avoid applying body lotions or creams before your massage – these can interfere with the therapist's massage efforts.
- Bring plenty of water with you to your massage.
- Drink plenty of water immediately following your massage.
- Drink plenty of water!
